It is time to take a stand for a different world.
Never before has inclusion and belonging been so critical for our organizations, our society, our world. Intentionally building a sense of inclusion and belonging amplifies what is possible in an organization.
While developing systemic changes and institutional accountability are important aspects of developing a culture of inclusion and belonging, leaders must also attend to their own “backpacks” that they carry with them into every human interaction. Building our cultural humility is a commitment to continuous learning, remaining humble, flexible, and bold enough to look at ourselves critically with a desire to evolve as a person and a leader.
