Meet Michelle.

Growing up in a small town in Northwest Ohio, Michelle learned at a very young age the importance of relationships. Helping to run family-owned county fair concession stands, building relationships was critical in maintaining an advantage in a very competitive environment. People matter.

To further develop her ability to connect with people and build relationships, Michelle studied language and culture in Hong Kong, honing her skills to listen attentively and communicate in ways that can be heard and understood despite cultural differences. It was during this experience that Michelle’s passion for facilitating authentic dialogue was ignited.

As a facilitator, coach, and thought partner, Michelle specializes in organizational and leadership development, helping organizations and people through major transitions. While working with leaders, teams, and individuals to unearth key insights, which inspire building successful business and life practices, Michelle has gained a reputation as a trusted guide and thoughtful communicator.

Michelle has had formal training in numerous facilitation and planning methodologies and tends to use them as she cooks, creatively combining a taste of this and that for the perfect recipe that uniquely suits the challenge at hand. Even more important than her certifications is Michelle’s use of intuition and energy to support each process. From 3 to 300 people, Michelle brings diverse perspectives together to create a plan for manageable, measurable progress.

With over 20 years of experience working in foundation, association, corporate and higher education environments, Michelle brings a broad and unique perspective to her work. Respected by nonprofit and business leaders alike for creating an open and collaborative work environment, she is dedicated to assisting individuals and teams find their voice, ultimately bringing integrity, creativity and optimism to every project.

Michelle holds a BA in Economics/Political Science/East Asian Studies from Denison University and a Master’s in Public Health from The Ohio State University. When not engaged in coaching or facilitating, Michelle enjoys traveling with her family, cooking, gardening, hiking and geocaching.
